Your First Visit - The VIP Dental Experience
Dental visits with a new provider can often be intimidating. They don't need to be! Our established team is ready to warmly welcome you to our office and get you acclimated to your new dental home. We invite you to experience our friendly and highly-trained team at Old Town Smiles, starting with your first visit. Once you step into our space, our team will guide you through a tour of our sunny office, followed by a highly personalized session to understand your unique dental goals.
Our philosophy is that the more comprehensively we understand your needs from the beginning, the better we can serve you for years to come. Therefore, we reserve a full 60 minutes for your first visit with our doctors, and all of our undivided attention is on you! Our doctors will conduct comprehensive diagnostics, including a full set of digital x-rays and intraoral photos, a 3D zero-radiation baseline scan of your teeth and gums, and a very detailed and thorough oral evaluation by either Dr. Ahmed or Dr. Barra. You will also have a full hour with one of our hygienists, for a full gum assessment including 8 measurements on each tooth, along with a gentle yet thorough cleaning.
Throughout your visit, we focus on educating you about your dental health to empower you to make the best decisions, and provide you various customized treatment options. We do not believe in a one-size-fits-all approach, and take great pride in evaluating each patient's unique needs for their particular best outcome.
